Introducing the Intellian v45C!

Satellite internet for every boat. Sounds great, right? After all, what’s the use of outfitting that pleasure craft with every possible luxury item if you can’t even get online? I mean, if you’re reading this article, you’re probably on land. Wouldn’t it be great to surf the web while you’re on the water?

Satellite internet is great

Satellite-based internet hasn’t always had the best reputation. A generation ago it was slow and unreliable. A lot has changed since then. Satellite internet is fast enough to stream HD. It’s fast enough to use social networking. It’s modern, 21st-century service, exactly what you expect.

What hasn’t changed — until now — is the size of the satellite dish. If you wanted internet on the boat, you needed to get a 60cm dish. This means a white gumdrop on your boat about two and a half feet wide. It’s not a problem for larger craft, but it leaves a lot of the smaller craft behind. But that’s about to change.

The Intellian v45C

This is Intellian’s v45C VSAT satellite antenna. It’s designed to connect to the internet at the same speed as larger dishes, but it’s about 75% of the size. That opens it up to a whole range of smaller craft that have never been able to get internet service before.

Yes, it’s smaller. But it’s packed with the same technology that makes Intellian’s larger dishes successful. It’s so advanced, it can keep you connected while you’re far offshore. That means you don’t have to choose between really getting away from it all and keeping that critical connection to the world.

How to get satellite internet

Here’s the thing about satellite internet for marine. It’s not plug-and-play. I’d love to write this long article telling you about how easy it is to install and configure this sort of thing. It’s really not hard if you have installation expertise, but it’s not to the point where you can go to your local big-box store, pick up the stuff you need, and put it up by reading the manual.

That’s where the experts come in. Signal Connect has handled more installations and activations than anyone else in the world of marine entertainment. We’re here to make sure you get everything you need, when you need it.

It starts with a call to 888-233-5834. That’s the hotline to our marine team. We have a group of experts who have the tech knowledge to get the job done and the people skills to treat you right. When you call, you’ll get connected to someone who will take an interest in you. We don’t “do” call centers. We do customer service. And our team is ready to give you everything you need.

We have an installer base all around the country. We know you can’t bring the boat to us. We’ll come to you and make sure everything is set up right. Because we know, when you’re 50 miles offshore, that’s the wrong time to find out there’s a problem.

It’s time to get connected! Call us, or if it’s after East Coast business hours, fill out the form below! We’ll get back to you, usually within 24 hours.
