There’s an interesting thread over at the DBSTalk forums. There’s a similar one at Satellite Guys. If you’re not familiar, both sites have been covering the satellite TV market for over 15 years. They are full of people who are dedicated to the satellite TV and the DIY life.
Satellite Guys posted this picture, and similar text appears over at DBSTalk:
Of course the rest of the email is the standard series of disclaimers.
Have you gotten an email like this?
The email seems to have gone out to longtime NFL Sunday Ticket customers. It’s not the first time the company has done this sort of promotion but it hasn’t happened often.
Not only that, this is the first time that I’m aware of that the company has given away the “Max” package to existing subscribers. New customers get it the first year, but generally in the past when there have been giveaways it’s been the base NFL Sunday Ticket package.
I have no doubt this is happening, but I don’t know how widespread it is. That’s why I’m asking for all of you to comment below to see if you received an email like this.
Check your spam boxes and trash… I know that you get a lot of emails and it’s easy to toss the ones you think you won’t need.
This is a very smart move right now.
Personally, I think there will be a full NFL season in the fall. I don’t know if there will be anyone in the seats, but I think the players will be there. Yet, people might be hesitant to make that cost commitment right now. Of course, it’s possible to buy the NFL Sunday Ticket package well into the season, but by enticing customers today, AT&T not only looks like a good corporate citizen, they keep the focus on the fact that there WILL be football to watch.
Is this deal out there for bars?
There’s one post out there suggesting that commercial customers are getting this deal too. If that’s true, that would be an incredible deal. Businesses usually pay a lot more for NFL Sunday Ticket because their prices are based on Fire Code Occupancy. This could end up being a great deal.
Of course, if you aren’t getting this deal, you can always order NFL Sunday Ticket by calling our experts at 866-726-4182 or filling out the form below.
